RMTechFlow is a project financed by EIT RawMaterials with the aim of supporting the acceleration of technologies
and IP developed within the EIT RawMaterials Innovation Community towards the market.
The project will provide advanced professional training and coaching on technology transfer
and innovation management to 180 academics and tech transfer personnel throughout 2019 and 2020.
Overall, RMTechFlow seeks to support the EIT RawMaterials and its partners in establishing top level innovation
management and technology transfer practices. Below the involved partners.

Hub Innovazione Trentino promotes the results of research and innovation in the Trentino system in order to support the development of the local economy. HIT supports its funding associates partners (University of Trento, Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Fondazione Edmund Mach, Trentino Sviluppo) in accelerating research results towards the market via technology transfer and new business creation. HIT is the coordinator of RMTechFlow; will host courses and will provide coaching services to academics.

AGH is a university of modern technologies, whose priorities are innovations and development of novel technologies that are used in many branches of industry. The scientific potential of the university lies in its highly qualified staff consisting of 1964 researchers and teachers’ staff. AGH UST is the biggest technical university in the country - both in terms of the number of students, and independent academic staff. AGH-UST has four main entities responsible for cooperation between science and business by means of industrial property rights (Center for Transfer Technology (CTT), creating spin-off (INNOAGH LTd.), commercialising the research results (Academic Business Incubator), strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration (The Highway to technology and Innovation Institute).
AGH will host two workshops, allowing the project both to widen its reach and impacts towards the CLC East, as well as to test a promising franchise-alike business model for exploitation of results (separating professional learning suppliers from workshop organizers - as brand licensees -, hosting workshops and taking care of all operations).

FLS is the market-leading supplier of engineering, equipment, spare and wear parts, consultancy and service solutions to customers in the global mining and cement industries. Within mining industry FLSmidth supports all main machinery within flowsheets for Copper, Gold and other precious metals, Iron/Ferro-Nickel, Coal, Phosphates, Potash, Alumina, Lithium and more. Machinery concern various processing steps such as extraction (in-pit crushing and mine hoists/shaft systems), materials handling, comminution, separations, hydromet, pyromet, leaching, dry stacked tailings and automation. FLSmidth contributes to the modules Get Rady for exploitation (for researchers) and Building the business case (for TTO staff).

LTU Business AB is the largest innovation management company in northern Scandinavia, currently with 35 consultants. In addition to being the official Technology Transfer Office and Industry Liaison Office for Luleå University of Technology, LTU Business serves clients from both private and public sector. Each year LTU Business performs analyzes of over 200 ideas sprung from the academy, and additionally 50-100 from external companies and organizations. Within RMTechFlow LTU Business will provide coaching services and teach the course modules on Find a target market (for researchers) and The impactful TTO (for TTO staff).

Tecnalia Ventures’ focus is to accelerate the incubation of business opportunities based on disruptive technologies to generate sustainable, rapid-growing and profitable business, generating economic value for companies and for society at large. As a 100% subsidiary of Tecnalia, Tecnalia Ventures works for the integral management of the commercialization of Tecnalia’s technology in the form of industrial property, know-how and participation in technology based startups. Tecnalia Ventures will host courses, provide coaching services, and tech the course modules Get Rady for exploitation (for researchers) and Building the business case (for TTO staff).

The Office of Corporate Partnership and Knowledge Exchange (OCPKE) translates the research of academics to achieve both economic and societal impact. Trinity is structured specifically to deliver impact from research. The OCPKE brings together all the parts of the university that are required for a deal to be completed with industry. TCD will host two courses, provide coaching services, and teach the course modules on Position your Technology (for researchers) and The right exploitation strategy (for TTO staff).
